2022 NZSL Community Grants funding

NZSL Community Grants help NZSL to thrive in local communities and nationally by supporting activities that use NZSL. The grants are for community groups to help NZSL continue and grow.

Grants can be used to:

  • support projects that maintain and promote NZSL locally or nationally
  • develop resources that will be available at no cost to members of the public
  • to deliver a project with a clear outcome and timeline
  • give more opportunities to Deaf and other NZSL users

NZSL Strategy (2018-2023)

All applications will be assessed against the NZSL Strategy external (2018-2023). Please take time to read the five-year outcomes of the strategy to give your project the best chance of success.

Applications that do not meet the five-year outcomes will not be considered by the NZSL Board.
