NZSL Community Grants dates for 2023

This is the tenth round that the NZSL Board has run an application process for funding, giving anyone in the Deaf or NZSL user community the opportunity to put forward their project ideas.

Introduction

NZSL Community Grants help NZSL to thrive in local communities and nationally by supporting activities that maintain and promote NZSL. The grants are for community groups to help NZSL continue and grow. Grants can be used to:

  • support projects that maintain and promote NZSL locally or nationally
  • develop resources that will be available free to members of the public
  • give more opportunities to Deaf and other NZSL users to use NZSL together

NZSL Strategy (2018-2023)

All applications will be assessed against the NZSL Strategy (2018-2023). Please take time to read the five-year outcomes of the strategy to give your project the best chance of success.

Applications that do not meet the five-year outcomes will not be considered by the NZSL Board.
